EFL TRANSFERS TO MIRROR PREM

THE Football League have voted for an earlier transfer deadline, bringing it into line with the Premier League.

EFL teams will now be unable to sign players beyond 5pm on August 9. The 72 sides can still bring in loan players until the end of August and offload to a club in any league where the window remains open.
