Aguero rules out fan action
SERGIO AGUERO will not press charges against the Wigan fan who clashed with him after Manchester City’s shock FA Cup defeat.
He is still angry that the supporter was able to run on to the pitch at the DW Stadium and confront him on Monday night. It is claimed the fan spat at the striker, tried to punch him and verbally abused him.
Aguero, who had to be restrained from retaliating, discussed his options with City’s legal team and has decided against lodging a formal complaint for common assault with the police.
