Language in a state

In an age where we have meaningless, pretentious tags or names for everything, I didn’t think my ire could be provoked any more than it already is until a card promoting a new estate agent dropped through the letterbox (destined for the recycling). ‘Sell your house online with your local, independent, hybrid agent’. What the hell? A ‘hybrid agent’? Is it half human-half electric? Or what?
