STEVE COTTERILL is vowing to take criticism on the chin and turn around Birmingham’s slump.

Blues are just one point above the drop zone heading into today’s six-pointer against Barnsley.

They have lost their last three games including a 5-0 defeat at Brentford on Tuesday in which some fans vented frustration.

Cotterill (left) said: “I don’t take it personally. I don’t dislike anyone for disliking me.

“I understand it, it’s not nice and it’s painful, but I’m a realist and I’ll keep working until I turn this around.

“Because I will turn it around, but it might not be this season.”
