Looter’s raid on dead man

A WOMAN who looted her neighbour’s flat after his sudden death has been jailed for 15 months.

Debbie Massey took Ben Nicholls’ fridge, TV and jewellery and arranged a van man to clear it all.

She had the only key to the 60-year-old’s Luton home and helped herself before relatives arrived to collect his belongings.

Massey, 50, admitted theft. At Luton crown court, Judge Michael Kay QC told her: “It was callous and cold-hearted.”
