Hillsborough group closed

HILLSBOROUGH relatives are angered after a government liaison group for families was disbanded.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said it would be shut down within two months.

Yesterday it emerged five more officers have been probed over the 1989 disaster, in which 96 Liverpool fans died.

Steve Kelly, who lost brother Michael, 38, said: “We need [the group] now more than ever.” The Home Office said families will get “continued support”.
