5. WHY DOES MARCELLA’S EX JASON HATE HER SO MUCH?

Jason doesn’t have that many reasons to be cheerful – but he has plenty for hating Marcella.

Perhaps he’s angry his ex-lover Grace is dead. Or that, when he got stabbed in series one, he nearly bled out as Marcella ignored him. Maybe it’s because she just attacked his fiancée, Becky.

And now he knows Marcella is “not well”, Jason also fears for the safety of their children.

Then again, he could also be panicking she may report him for having someone killed previously – as Tim wants her to. But we think it boils down to the tragedy that kicked off Marcella’s illness, the death of their daughter Juliette. While details are elusive, we know that it still plagues them both.
