120-car fire: girl, 13, held

A GIRL of 13 has been arrested over a fire that damaged 120 cars.

Police said the teenager was held on suspicion of arson after the blaze at a salvage yard in Deal, Kent, on Friday night.

About 40 firefighters tackled the flames.

Police said: “A 13-yearold girl from Deal has been released pending inquiries.”
