BRAZIL BOSS: IT WILL BE JUST LIKE WATCHING ...MAN CITY
BRAZIL coach Tite has revealed Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are his World Cup inspiration.
The five-time champions will again boast a formidable array of talent in Russia this summer.
But Tite said that League Cup winners and Premier League
champions-elect City are masters at breaking down teams who park the bus.
He said: “Man City are the best at breaking a backline of five – that’s why I watch their games.
“They have the chance to face an opponent with a backline of five in every game, we only faced England so we didn’t have time to develop a solution.”
Tite also intends to pair City’s Gabriel Jesus with Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino in Russia. He said: “I can see Firmino playing with Jesus.
“Coutinho and Neymar as playmakers behind the two strikers could be a solution against deep opponents.”
