Tragic boxer earned £2k

BOXER Scott Westgarth earned about £2,000 from the fight that cost his life.

Scott, 31, died in hospital after winning his bout in Doncaster on Saturday.

Fellow fighter Curtis Woodhouse, 37, said: “Scott fought for love of the game and whatever he got was probably a bonus.”
