Smiles of Fab Four ‘genuine’

THIS first outing tells us so much about the dynamics of the couples, reveals body language expert Darren Stanton.

“When people are getting on well, they tend to unconsciously mimic each other. Meghan and Kate are mirroring each other’s clasped hands,” says the star of TV’s Human Lie Detector. “They are also taking it to the next level, what we call ‘pace and lead’, with one subconsciously following the gestures of the other. This shows a deeper level of rapport.

“Meghan did what we call a ‘hand-tomouth’, like a giggle, that shows she’s very comfortable and they’ve completely accepted her as part of the family.”

Harry did seem nervous but he settled, especially when Meghan touched his arm.

Darren added: “If someone is fake laughing, you’ll catch a glimpse of another emotion. These four were very genuine.”
