Parish ready for drop
CRYSTAL PALACE chairman Steve Parish admits he is having to plan for life in the Championship.
The Eagles had climbed up to 12th and five points clear of the drop zone after their 1-0 win over Burnley in mid-January.
But a run of five league games without a win has seen Roy Hodgson’s squad slide to 17th and out of the bottom three only on goal difference. Parish (left) said: “We are in a difficult situation. People ask what I’m planning for, it’s the Championship. “It’s down to the players, but if it does happen I can’t start thinking about it then.”
