Pair jailed for mum carjack

TWO thugs have been jailed for carjacking a mum and tot at knifepoint.

Zahid Mahmood, 20, and Usman Mahboob, 18, jumped in the woman’s car as she put her 13-monthold son in his baby seat.

The thugs eventually let them go before driving off.

The mum, not named at Leeds crown court, said of the robbery last June: “It has permeated our lives.”

Mahmood got six years, four months. Mahboob, also of Leeds, was jailed for five-and-a-half years.
