RAFA BENITEZ takes his Newcastle side to Liverpool tomorrow – and admits he loves both cities.

The Spaniard is still a fans’ hero on Merseyside, and is loved in equal measure by the Toon Army.

Benitez has a foundation helping local charities and his family live on the Wirral.

He said: “I like the atmosphere that reigns in Newcastle, like Liverpool – where the fans know how to invest in you and the work that you do.

“These are places where people live for their club, where fans want players to give everything because they give everything.

“Like Liverpool, Newcastle is a city of workers, so there is also that mentality that must be shown by the team: work is everything.”
