Wicked Kitchen Nana’s Mushroom Bolognese (400g), £4 VERSUS Spaghetti Bolognese (450g), £2.50 The mushroom bolognese was well seasoned with a hint of garlic and had quite a meaty texture. The spiralised carrot gave it crunch and the sauce on a bed of linguine was full of flavour. It was more expensive than the meat version, but we found it was filling and a tasty alternative to the real thing. It was an unpretentious, hearty meal and just 400 calories. By comparison, we found the beef bolognese greasy, bland and chewy. It lacked depth and character, and was higher in calories at 554. SWITCH
