Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Red Onion & Rosemary Sausages (6), £2 VERSUS The Best Pork & Honey Chipolatas with Blossom Honey & Sweet Onion (12), £2.48 The uncooked Linda McCartney sausages look a bit scary and very rough with lots of chunky bits hanging off them compared to the smooth pork sausages. It took longer to cook the veggie option, and we found it more difficult to tell when they were ready. The inside was coarse too, but they tasted very pleasant with the combinatio­n of sweet onion and a rosemary kick – and they weren’t greasy. The Morrisons sausages cooked evenly and had a decent taste. However, lots of liquid oozed out of them during cooking, which made them less appealing. SWITCH
