WARREN Beatty and Faye Dunaway will present Best Picture at the Academy Awards – despite announcing the wrong winner last year.

The Bonnie and Clyde co-stars are said to have been rehearsing at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Writers are putting the finishing touches to the script before Sunday, but a source told website TMZ that Faye joked in rehearsal: “Presenting is better the second time around.”

Warren then said: “The winner is Gone with the Wind.”

Faye has admitted she felt “very guilty” and was “completely stunned” after announcing La La Land had won rather than Moonlight.

She has said: “Warren took the card out and didn’t say anything. He looked over me, offstage, he looked around and I finally said, ‘You’re impossible!’ I thought he was joking.”

Faye, 77, then read from a card that named Emma Stone as Best Actress for her role in La La Land.

Warren, 80, has played down the gaffe, saying: “It seemed kind of silly.”

The Shape Of Water leads the Oscar nominations, with 13 nods.
