YOUR SHOUT

-

Fiona, hardly a week passes without you referring to your beloved Chelsea. OK, I understand you’re an ardent fan – absolutely nothing wrong with that – but I imagine 90% of your readers couldn’t give a monkey’s!

Love your page and you yourself but, hey, give us a rest. Doug, via e-mail FP: Received and understood, Doug, but just cast your eyes below… Aha! Lynda’s clearly not one of the “many others”.

Fiona, love your page. We are big football fans. Manchester City is our love and has been for over 50 years. Have to agree with you about Chelsea’s Willian, a lovely young man. An example to many, and a great role model for young fans. Lynda, via e-mail FP: So true, Lynda! I’d also like to thank readers for the many messages in reply to my comment on the scarcity of GP home visits these days. It turns out the majority have amazing GPs who, if you’re too ill to attend surgery, will see you at home. Lucky you! This message sums them all up...

Fiona, I’m very sorry you were so unwell with your back, however I feel compelled to correct you about doctors no longer doing home visits. I work in a busy GP surgery with roughly 15,000 patients. Our GPs do home visits every weekday. I dare say there are very many that no longer do it but I had to stand up for the wonderful doctors that work at my surgery who still do. Tracey Massey, via e-mail FP: Glad to hear it, Tracey – and they’re very lucky to have you too.
