KATARINA JohnsonThompson banished her demons to finally fulfil her potential and become a world champion.

SIR MO FARAH admits turning his back on the adrenaline-high of track athletics is taking some getting used to.

Britain’s best-ever athlete makes his debut as a full-time road runner at tomorrow’s Big Half in London. It’s prep for his London Marathon next month – and a shock to Farah’s system. “I’ve gone from 25-degree heat in Ethiopia to sub-zero here,” said Farah, who collapsed in 2014 at the end of a half marathon after going from Kenyan heat to New York chill. Adjusting to his new career after 10 Olympic and world track titles is every bit as big a challenge, but working with new coach Gary Lough (left) will help. “Ask me after two years!” said Farah (right), when asked whether he could return to track. “It depends how the marathon goes!”
