Boss Roy Hodgson snapped up former Brazil star Diego Cavalieri, 35, yesterday until the end of the season to back up Wayne Hennessey after his No.2 Julian Speroni suffered a long-term knee injury.

But both Speroni and Hennessey’s deals are up this summer and Palace could be set for a goalkeeping overhaul.
