We may see 2nd EU vote, says Hezza

A TORY grandee yesterday warned Theresa May she faces a Commons defeat over her Brexit plans, and even a second referendum.

Lord Michael Heseltine said some Tory MPs would even back Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn as PM if it kept Britain in a customs union.

He said: “The PM has no majority for the sort of deal that is being talked about. The only way to resolve this is to go back to Parliament, but if not Parliament then to a referendum.

“There are Conservatives who’d rather risk a Corbyn government than see Britain leaving Europe.”
