SEAN MORRISON is hoping to return to his side’s ‘Mean Machine’ back-line tonight to help secure another clean sheet in the the push for a Premier League return.

Since the turn of the year Cardiff, who host struggling Barnsley tonight, have conceded only four goals in nine Championship outings and kept clean sheets in their last four games. “The trust between our back four and goalkeeper is something on which we pride ourselves,” said captain Morrison (above), who missed the recent win over Bristol City through injury.

“I think this is the best defensive unit I’ve been a part of, and I’ve played with some great players who have achieved lots in their careers.”
