BENTLEY’S ROLL

-

DAN BENTLEY admits Brentford are facing a make-or-break month to gatecrash the play-offs.

Bees keeper Bentley, aiming for a clean sheet at Burton tonight, said: JOS LUHUKAY is banking on home comforts to hoist Sheffield Wednesday clear of relegation.

The Owls are dicing with the drop following Saturday’s 4-0 walloping at Bristol City, their third straight league defeat.

They are just seven points above the bottom three after a run of four wins in 24 games.

But Dutchman Luhukay (above) believes wins at “It’s all about getting on a roll – and this month is important to keep ourselves in contention.

“We’ve also got to play four or five teams above us, so that could have a big say.” Hillsborough against Ipswich tonight and fellow strugglers Bolton on Saturday will signal a change in fortune.

He said: “The result at Bristol City we can’t change. What we can do is be better against Ipswich. I hope we can do better against Bolton, too.”

Ipswich match-winner at Preston 10 days ago – Mustapha Carayol – will be fit after coming off ill at half-time in that match.
