Munroe quits over trolling

TRANSGENDER model Munroe Bergdorf has quit as a Labour LGBT adviser after “relentless online abuse” for using the words “poof ” and “dyke” in tweets.

Bergdorf, 29, said last month she was “thrilled” after being invited to join a group advising Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities, Dawn Butler.

But after her eight-yearold posts were published, she said: “I refuse to be used as a pawn in the efforts to discredit Labour and push transphobic rightist agendas.”
