ITV, 9pm The comedy’s opening episode last week suddenly went a bit Broadchurch when we saw Kenneth’s bright pink chain washed up on the beach.

Kenneth (Tony Maudsley) bravely decided to take on the swim from Peacock Island to raise the alarm after the wedding party were stranded.

But now, although the rest of them have returned, bedraggled and covered in bird droppings after a night under the stars, Kenneth is still nowhere to be found. Could everything in this sunny sitcom be about to turn dark and sinister?

We were also left with the cliffhanger of the mystery identity of Rob’s new girlfriend – who could be a boyfriend.

Fortunately, the “Cyd/Sid” text message gender confusion is quite literally spelled out to us in case we didn’t get it – and you can expect Cyd’s much-anticipated arrival.

Elsewhere, Joey is back with his new friend Callum in tow. It is a total farce, but fans certainly won’t be disappointed.
