Aussie boss gives Warner his backing
DAVID WARNER will remain as Australia’s vice-captain, despite his off-field spat with South Africa wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock.
CCTV footage showed Warner arguing with De Kock outside their dressing rooms at tea on day four of the first Test at Durban.
Australia sealed a 118-run victory and Warner has the full backing of his head coach Darren Lehmann, who said: “He’s vice-captain. We’re certainly supporting David.”
