CANARIES COUNT THE COST

-

NORWICH dominated, but were forced to settle for a fifth straight draw by the heroics of Forest keeper Costel Pantilimon.

The on-loan Watford stopper, 31, stood firm as the Canaries laid siege to his goal, starting with a fine early save from winger Josh Murphy’s header.

The giant Romania keeper was quickly in action again, using all his 6ft 8in frame to deny Norwich right-back Harrison Reed, before fielding a 35-yard Murphy drive.

James Maddison (above) drove the Canaries forward after the break, constantly threatening with his free-kicks and incisive passes.

But the towering Pantilimon simply refused to be beaten, denying Murphy again, and sub Wes Hoolahan, in quick succession.
