Wiggins giving morality swerve
Bradley Wiggins may not have broken the letter of the anti-doping law.
But he has certainly broken the spirit of it – using an asthma drug he’d been prescribed for medicinal purpose for enhancing performance purposes, according to a Select Comittee report.
Either that or using it nine times over four years would indicate worse breathing than The Fast Show’s Bob Fleming.
So it’s little surprise Bradley Wiggins was also a big investor in a tax avoidance scheme. Again, not illegal, but certainly immoral.
Someone clearly comfortable freewheeling between these two clear lines was always going to crash spectacularly one day.
