Look on the bright side..

LAST month was the second sunniest February on record, figures show.

The Met Office measured 95.6 hours of sunshine across the UK, more than any February since records began in 1929, apart from 2008.

The West fared best, and the Yorkshire coast worst.

The cold snap at the end of February helped drive down the average temperature for the month to 2.4C, the lowest since 2010, when it was 1.9C.
