£2.9m left by Labour’s Tam
FORMER firebrand Labour MP Tam Dalyell left £2.9million, figures show.
He died in January last year at 84 and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen, a son, daughter and four grandchildren.
Mr Dalyell became MP for West Lothian in 1962 then Linlithgow in 1983 and became the longestserving MP, with 43 years.
The Old Etonian baronet turned his back on his roots and became a socialist, motivated by Scottish unemployment.
