Fire ‘survivor lie for mobile’

A GRENFELL Tower “survivor” demanded clothes, £5,000 and hotel rooms before dropping her social worker when she failed to get her a new smartphone.

Joyce Msokeri, 47, said she lived in flat “135 or 153” at the block in North Kensington, London, destroyed by an inferno in June 2017.

Key worker Millicent Miller told Southwark crown court: “She felt I put an obstacle in the way.”

Msokeri, of Sutton, South London, denies fraud. The trial continues.
