Brassed Off

A 1996 comedy-drama about a brass band struggling to survive after the local pit shuts. Set 10 years after the Miners’ Strike of 1984–85, Tara Fitzgerald is sent to assess the viability of the pit. Ewan McGregor is a miner determined to fight on.
