FROOME HITS BACK
CHRIS FROOME has hit back at world cycling chief David Lappartient and told him to stop conducting private business in public.
Britain’s four-time Tour de France champ (right) was unimpressed by the UCI president’s claim that cycling’s reputation would be damaged if Froome took part in this year’s race with his doping case unresolved. He is fighting to prove there is a scientific reason for his adverse doping test. And Froome said: “Given his concern, it would be more sensible to raise his concerns in person or through the right channels as opposed to the media.”
