ROVERS TO TURN HEAT ON MAC

Catalans Dragons v Hull KR Stade Gilbert Brutus, 5pm

HULL KR are ready to pile the pressure on Catalans’ coach Steve McNamara in Perpignan tonight.

McNamara’s (right) latest charges prop up Super League without a win in their opening four games. Rovers are only marginally better off with one victory – against Macca’s French outfit on February 15 – in four starts.

But with talisman Danny McGuire fit again after a rib injury, prop Robbie Mulhern believes the Robins can start to climb the table. “Even last season, we went into the Qualifiers on the back of a few defeats and everybody was writing us off,” said the 23-year-old forward. “We blocked it out and to achieve what we did was amazing. “The group is largely unchanged and we’ve still got that same team spirit, so once we settle down a bit, I think we’re going to be a really good team.”
