Dogs ‘killed by fight ring’
THE mutilated bodies of three dogs discarded by a country road were the result of a dog fighting ring, campaigners believe.
The League Against Cruel Sports has offered a £5,000 reward over the find near Cranfield, Beds.
It said they had been imported and one had filed teeth to stop it defending itself as a “bait dog”.
The charity’s Chris Luffingham said the animals would have experienced “serious suffering being torn apart in illegal fights”.
