Global search engine Skyscanner saw a surge in searches for lastminute flight deals from the UK to European ski destination airports this weekend compared to the weekend before the Beast landed, with a whopping 31% increase for Grenoble, France.

Searches for Salzburg and Geneva were up by 25% and 24% respectively.
