‘Fat-shaming’ head blasted

THE head of a church school was slammed for “fat-shaming” his pupils.

Dr Huw Humphreys told parents the kids were “fatter and more obese” than others in the area.

He also urged pupils to walk to Christ the Sower Ecumenical Primary School in Milton Keynes, Bucks, for more exercise.

One parent said: “It is simply not acceptable to fat-shame our children.”

Dr Humphreys apologised but cited figures on the “critical” issue.
