Six ‘party pill’ youngsters ill
SIX youngsters have been treated in hospital after taking the drug Xanax.
They fell ill within a week of each other from the tranquilliser, which is 20 times stronger than valium. Doctors fear it has become the new party drug and could kill.
Xanax is not illegal and police believe users are buying it online.
The six fell ill in Brighton. Public Health England’s Rosanna O’Connor said: “People buying drugs off the web are dicing with death.”
