Porker’s just pig ignorant

A FARMER wants terms like “pig out” and “porker” to stop being used to describe over-eating and fat people because they are offensive to real pigs.

Indignant Fergus Howie has written to the Oxford English Dictionary demanding the removal of such “derogatory” words.

Fergus, 43, of Maldon, Essex, said: “Pigs are no greedier than other animals and they don’t eat junk food – nor is pork a fatty meat. It is unfair.”

The OED said changes to its contents depended on “language usage”.
