MICK McCARTHY has hit out at constant speculation about his future at Ipswich.

Some fans are calling for him to be axed and he is out of contract at the end of the season after almost six years.

Managing director Ian Milne has hinted a decision will be made this month and will be made public at the same time as an announcement about season ticket prices.

“I’ve heard that secondhand and at the minute I would say, ‘Mind your own business’,” said McCarthy (left) ahead of tonight’s visit by Hull. “I’m sick of talking about it. I’m sick of talking about me and I’m sick of talking about fans and their reaction.”
