MO SALAH’S transfer value has increased by more than any other player in Europe’s top leagues, according to new data.

The Liverpool striker’s market value rose by £66.4million over the last six months to £144.3m.

Salah, 25, is the leading Premier League goalscorer with 24 goals. The CIES rankings system has six Premier League players in the top 10 with Manchester City pair Ederson and Leroy Sane second and third.

The rankings – based on players’ current form in the top five leagues in Europe – valued Egypt internatio­nal Salah at £78.3m in September 2017 just after his £34m move to Liverpool.

Leicester City and England defender Harry Maguire is 13th on the list with an increased value of £31.5m, while Burnley’s Jack Cork is 48th with an estimated rise in his value of £16.3m.
