5,000 want to build for Lego

MORE than 5,000 jobseekers have applied for a £27,000-a-year post playing with Lego.

The firm has advertised for a master model builder at Legoland Discovery Centre in Birmingham.

Duties also include curating exhibitions and mentoring children. Barristers and royal staff are among those applying.

The centre’s Amy Langham said: “This is a privileged position, we’re not surprised at the high number of applicants.”
