Chargers in global recall

AMAZON has recalled 260,000 phone chargers around the world after reports four caught fire.

There have also been 53 reports of AmazonBasics powerbanks overheating.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission urged anyone who bought one between December 2014 and July 2017 not to use them.

Amazon UK said: “Anyone in Britain who has bought one will have been contacted directly by email and given a link for them to get a refund.”
