Do you recognise writing of rape-threat stalker?
A STALKER’S scrawled threats to a woman have been released by police in the hope that someone will recognise his handwriting.
The notes – often on greetings cards featuring cute cats or birds – have included rape threats and become increasingly graphic.
They are signed “Gordon” with five distinctive crosses and were sent to a Bristol address in a six-year harassment campaign. One said: “I hope to be with you very soon. Lots of love and kisses from your stalker and your rapist!!”
The victim, a woman in her 40s, said: “This has been going on for so long – someone out there must know who it is.
“Whether it’s the distinctive crosses, the handwriting or the name they call themselves, if you recognise anything that could help the police, please let them know.”
DC Patrick Prescott said: “We’re releasing extracts of the offender’s handwriting and signature as we believe someone will recognise the style and know who the sender is.
“The content is becoming increasingly sexually explicit and aggressive.”
