A HANDCUFFED bride is led to a carriage she was definitely not expecting to be travelling in on her wedding day.

Amber Young, 32, was on her way to the church when she was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving at the scene of a three-car pile-up. She was held in jail briefly in Marana, Arizona, and released after signing a criminal citation with a pledge to appear in court later. It is not known if her wedding went ahead.

Police spokesman Sergeant Chriswell Scott said: “Don’t drive impaired, till death do we part doesn’t need any help.”
