Mick’s Ad a shocker
Ipswich 0 Hull 3
MICK McCARTHY read the riot act to his Ipswich fall guys last night – on the pitch at Portman Road.
After being hammered by Nigel Adkins’ Hull, the Tractors Boys boss kept his team out in a circle, wagging a finger as he delivered a very public dressing down.
McCarthy’s anger was obvious as he saw Ipswich fail to score at home for a FIFTH successive game – and found himself barracked by the fans.
Adkins’ Tigers are now nine points clear of the drop zone – and won’t have many more straightforward victories than this one.
Hull never looked back after Markus Henriksen fired home from the edge of the box in the 18th minute.
More pressure saw on-loan Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson arrive unmarked at the back post to double the lead five minutes before half-time.
And Jarrod Bowen made it 3-0 within two minutes of the restart, squeezing his shot past keeper Bartosz Bialkowski at the near post.
