Vision looks good for Ballymore

-

YOU won’t get fat backing Samcro in the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott’s hotpot, unbeaten in six, has the form in the book to suggest he’ll be very difficult to beat.

But I’m told you could do a lot worse than backing VISION DES FLOS each-way. Colin Tizzard’s fiveyear-old was a winner in a bumper at Punchestown last year and hacked up in the mud at Exeter.

A highly respected mole at one of the many preview nights I attended assured me: “He’s a banker to go well”.

Quite what that means I’m not exactly sure — will it win or won’t it!

People in racing talk in ifs and buts, however I’ve never completely shaken the expensive habit of chucking a few quid at educated whispers.

I’ll also be throwing a dart at Willie Mullins’ AL BOUM PHOTO in the Ryanair.

He’s a banker to go well.
