Pards’ dad-dancing becomes woe, woe, quick-quick woe

-

I’M not saying the gods looked disapprovingly on Alan Pardew when he did that goal-celebrating dad dance at Wembley – but look at the facts.

Since that premature jog in May 2016, he has managed in 27 Premier League games – at Crystal Palace and West Brom – and won only two of them, once at each club.

When he is sacked for the second time soon, questions will be asked.

Such as, where does Pardew (left) go from here, was it wise of West Brom to give in to fan unrest and sack Tony Pulis mid-season when they were outside the relegation places and he was almost guaranteed to keep them up?

And how, on God’s earth, did Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool get knocked out of an FA Cup by Pardew’s West Brom at Anfield – where they hadn’t lost all season – in what was clearly their best chance to win a trophy in six years?
