Harry in hurry to play again
HARRY KANE has vowed to return before the end of the season despite ankle ligament damage.
The 24-year-old Tottenham striker picked up the injury in Sunday’s 4-1 win at Bournemouth, raising fears that he might miss the World Cup.
But Kane, who had looked a good thing to win the Golden Boot again before being ruled out, said yesterday: “It’s disappointing to be out until next month but injuries are part of the game. I’ll do everything I can to get back out there ASAP.”
A Spurs statement had earlier said that Kane was expected to return to first-team training next month.
