Mullins 1-12 to be top

WILLIE MULLINS is 1-12 (from 1-7) to win the top trainer gong for Cheltenham 2018 after a double yesterday took his tally for the fixture to five after two days.

Mullins struck with Bleu Berry (20-1, above) in the Coral Cup and Relegate (25-1) in the Champion Bumper.

Gordon Elliott, on the mark with a treble, is 6-1, with Nicky Henderson a 66-1 shot.

“Gordon Elliott has reduced Willie Mullins’ lead, but Ireland’s champion trainer still has plenty of ammunition left for the last two days of the meeting,” said William Hill’s Rupert Adams.
